Shipping Policy
Urban Lights offers Free Shipping on orders from many of our most popular manufacturers. These include: Accord Lighting, American Lighting, Corbett Lighting, Fanimation, Fine Art, Fredrick Ramond, Generation Lighting., George Kovacs, Hinkley, Hubbardton Forge +, Hudson Valley, Kichler, Kuzco Lighting, Lark, Lutron +, Metropolitan, Minka Aire, Minka-Lavery, Mitzi, Modern Forms, Modern Forms Fans, Oxygen, Quoizel, Quorum, Troy Lighting, Varaluz, Visual Comfort Fan, Visual Comfort Studio, W.A.C. Lighting, and Z-Lite.
- Orders from all other manufacturers are subject to 15% Shipping & Handling charge.
- Free Shipping does not include Expedited orders (Overnight, 2-Day, 3-Day).
- Free Shipping within the contiguous U.S. only. Does not include Alaska or Hawaii. Urban Lights does not ship out of the country.
- Please be advised, we cannot ship to PO Box addresses.
Truck Freight (LTL) & Oversized items
Items shipped via truck freight are delivered to curbside or driveway only. Most carriers will contact you to set up a delivery time, usually a 2-to-4-hour appointment window during normal business hours. It is the customers’ (receiver) responsibility to provide an accurate contact phone number for the delivery address. At the time of delivery, be sure to note the condition of your shipment. It is the responsibility of the receiver to note all visible damage or loss on the delivery receipt before signing – not the responsibility of the delivery driver. If the carrier is unable to contact the customer, the customer will be responsible for any storage fees or return freight charges. See our Return Policy section for full details.
In-Store pick up
A customer may choose to pick up their online purchase at our store. If you wish to pick up your purchase, before heading to the store, please wait for us to contact you via phone or email when your order is ready for pick up.
Shipping Lead Times
Urban Lights strives to provide its customers with the most accurate information on product availability using the tools and resources made available by the manufacturers we represent. Lead times which may be posted on individual product pages are estimates only. Estimated lead times are based on the assumption that the item is currently in stock with the manufacturer and on the manufacturers typical speed at which orders are processed and shipped. In the last few years, supply chain personnel and transportation issues have created longer than typical lead times. If your purchase or project is time sensitive, it is strongly suggested that you contact a store associate at (303) 989-8895 to inquire about expedited shipping services. Urban Lights is not responsible for any costs associated with shipping delays. We strongly suggest that any professional services or equipment required to install your product(s) not be scheduled until your order has arrived, you have the product(s) onsite, and all products have been inspected.
